Best Hair Transplant Clinic in USA?
I’m looking for the best value place in the US to complete a hair transplant.
I’m located in SoCal, but willing to travel wherever. I’m looking for someone who can deliver great results in a safe/clean environment, but I don’t want to pay $6/graft.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Saw a guy on r/tressless asking about good value hair transplants in the US. He’s in SoCal, willing to travel, doesn’t want to pay $6 a graft. Further down he says around 2500 grafts, ideally for a few thousand dollars rather than $20k+.
Fair question. But “best doc in the US” and “who can do this for a few thousand” might lead you to very different places. Names first, because just telling people to do their research isn’t much help.
Konior and Sahar Nadimi would be on my list. Dr Wesley, Dorin, Ron Shapiro, Josephitis, Cooley too. With places like Chicago Hair Institute or Shapiro’s clinic, make sure you know which doc you’re actually booking. Don’t research one surgeon’s results then assume another surgeon at the same place is interchangeable.
He’s already in SoCal, consultation with Dr Parsa Mohebi would make sense to me. Gabel is another name I’d consider on the West Coast, and I’d include Dr Vories when comparing options and quotes. That’s a starting list, not a ranking or a claim they’re all within his budget.
The budget needs clearing up though. At $6 a graft, 2500 is $15k. Getting the same number for $5000 means $2 a graft. That’s not finding a slightly better deal, it’s a completely different target. I dont have a verified US option at that price that I’d confidently tell him to book. Doesn’t mean every expensive clinic deserves its quote either. I’d question both ends rather than assume expensive equals good or cheap equals clever.
And the replies about his Rolex purchases… come on. Buying watches doesn’t mean he loses the right to question a surgical bill. Where I disagree with him is the “cheap and easy” approach. Affordable is fair enough. Treating hair surgery like something you can casually try and undo later, not so much. If the options you’re comfortable trusting cost more than you’re comfortable spending, doing nothing is also a valid decision.
Anyone with recent US ht quotes, post the doc, approximate date, technique, graft estimate, total price, and what the surgeon personally does. Would be a lot more useful than many replies saying Dr Konior and leaving it there.
