Dr Pekiner, Bek, Keser in Ankara too. Still a chunk of money. Some quote a flat price instead, and €4 isn’t a hard limit either. Someone [paid €4.50 a graft with Pekiner](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1urzhx1/comment/owka07i/) for a partial shave. A guy [on Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1uz0l44/comment/oylf4my/) posted in July 2026 that he’d paid about $20k for 2400 grafts with Dr Carlos Wesley in New York. Another guy [shopping around Chicago](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1rpb22q/my_chicago_area_doctor_and_clinic_evaluation_and/) this year got a $35k quote from Dr Raymond Konior for 2k grafts. Same guy had Dr Sahar Nadimi at $11 a graft, roughly $18.7k for 1700 grafts. Yeah, staying in the US would be easier. But if the names youre looking at are doctor Nadimi, Konior or Wesley, prices those guys posted are nowhere near €3 or €4 a graft. If another US surgeon quotes around that, would you pick his work over what you’ve seen from Turkish docs? If you would, fair enough, save yourself the trip. If you wouldn’t, being able to drive there doesn’t suddenly make him the right surgeon for you. At those prices, you want to know what you’re actually getting from the doctor. [Pekiner put the grafts in for this guy](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1monqon/review_dr_kaan_pekiner_ankara_turkey_2816_grafts/), but [a reply](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1monqon/comment/nf0cj0g/) says his assistant Eray did the extractions. With Bek, [one guy says he did both](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1uiy914/doctor_bekir_bek_3275_grafts_ankara_turkey/) and [another](https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/1voyzoo/2405_grafts_16_days_post_op_dr_bekir_bek/) says Bek did the extractions but thinks a tech put the grafts in. Techs being involved doesn’t automatically make it a hair mill. Doctor led hair transplant still needs to mean the surgeon plans your surgery, makes the incisions, and takes responsibility afterwards. Before booking in Turkey, get a straight answer about what he’ll actually do and how many other surgeries he’s covering that day. Paying extra for VIP doesnt mean much if the doc still jumping between rooms. And if something isn’t right once you’re home, you need more than a sales rep replying on WhatsApp. The guy is 25 too. Being on fin and min doesn’t tell us if his hair has settled down yet. If a surgeon wants to wait or wont bring the hairline as low as he wants, thats worth listening to. ---
